held in the Commandery from August 21st - September 3rd 2008

September 3rd 2008

A volley of musket fire echoes across the city of Worcester to mark the end of a one-minute silence to remeber those who died at Worcester in 1651.  Three musketeers fire their period replica muskets across Fort Royal.

Despite the gale force winds and torrential rain, members of the society and the public gathered for the drumhead service.  THis was the final event in over a fortnight of activities, organized jointly with the Commandery,  held to commemorate the battle.
